Make engine maintenance more comfortable

Be the first to comment

What is the issue?
Engines are typically buried in the bowels of a yacht and are often hot when they require attention. If sailing in warm climates the engine compartment or engine room can become very uncomfortable.

Why address this?
If the environment is unbearable it is not alone totally unpleasant but could be a cause of a servicing mistake.

How to address this?
Install a permanent fan in the engine room, or at least a fixing point and power arrangement to accommodate a portable unit that is used in the vessel.
