Stronger streams are indicated by heavier or longer arrows, and as mentioned above, red arrows flagging rates of 3 knots and above. Numerals represent [mean neap, mean spring] rates in tenths of a knot. For example the numbers 12,23 would indicate a mean neap of 1.2 knots and a mean spring of 2.3 knots.

This Evening and Tonight: Cloud thickening as a band of showery rain moves eastwards this evening. Turning drier from the west overnight, with clear spells into Monday morning. Winds ease slightly, although still breezy, particularly at the coasts. Minimum Temperature 14C.
Monday: A dry and bright start to Monday with plenty of sunny spells. A few showers developing into the afternoon but staying dry for most. Winds easing through the afternoon too. Maximum Temperature 20C.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday: Remaining changeable on Tuesday with showers, perhaps heavy. Heavy rain clearing to sunnier skies on Wednesday, though likely very windy. Less windy, with sunny spells on Thursday. Temperatures above average.
