River Tamar & Tributaries
A completely protected location with safe access. 3 metres LWS. The River Tamar flows into the English Channel by passing through Plymouth Sound on England's south coast. The river and its tributaries offer many anchorages and berthing opportunities for deep draft vessels and many more for shoal draft vessels that can take to the mud when the water is away. get full information »

Looe Harbour
A good location with straightforward access. -3.3 metres LWS. Looe is is a small coastal town, fishing port, and tourism destination situated between Plymouth and Fowey on the mouth of the River Looe. The harbour dries out but it offers two berths for visitor boats who can take to its sandy bottom alongside the town quay. Polperro Harbour
A tolerable location with attentive navigation required for access. 0 metres LWS. Polperro is a small fishing harbour on the south coast of England that lies about midway between Fowey and Looe. It offers medium-sized vessels the possibility of drying within the inner harbour or mooring afloat in its approaches. get full information »

Lantic Bay
An exposed location with straightforward access. 3 metres LWS. Lantic Bay is a remote beach on the south coast of England located a mile and a quarter east of the entrance to Fowey. Fowey
A good location with straightforward access. 3 metres LWS. Fowey is a small harbour town on the south coast of England that lies about midway between Falmouth and Plymouth. Polkerris
A good location with straightforward access. 2 metres LWS. Polkerris is a small drying harbour on the south coast of England, situated close west of Fowey and about midway between Falmouth and Plymouth. The tiny harbour area dries beyond its pier but it has a very good anchorage outside. get full information »

Par
A good location with straightforward access. 2 metres LWS. Par Harbour is a drying industrial harbour on the northeast shore of St. Austell Bay on England's southwest coast. The small clay port closed to commercial traffic in 2009 but its slipways are used by a local sailing club. get full information »

Charlestown
A completely protected location with attentive navigation required for access. 0 metres LWS. Situated on England's southwest coast and on the northwest shore of St. Austell Bay, Charlestown is the only harbour the bay offers. Little has changed here since Georgian times, and given adequate notice, the pretty harbour receives visiting boats into an inner wet basin. In good conditions, it is also possible to anchor outside or maybe dry in the outer basin. get full information »

Mevagissey
A good location with straightforward access. 2 metres LWS. Mevagissey Harbour is situated on England's southwest coast about twelve miles northeast of Falmouth. It offers a berth alongside its substantial outer pier, fore and aft moorings in the outer harbour, or drying out in the back of the harbour. The area outside of the harbour provides good shelter from prevailing winds so it is also possible to anchor off outside in good conditions. get full information »

Portmellon
A tolerable location with straightforward access. 3 metres LWS. Portmellon is a small cove with a settlement situated on England's southwest coast about twelve miles northeast of Falmouth and close south of Mevagissey. Gorran Haven
A tolerable location with straightforward access. 2 metres LWS. Gorran Haven is a village in a sandy cove situated on England's southwest coast, a mile and a half northeast of Dodman Point and about ten miles northeast of Falmouth. Portscatho
A tolerable location with straightforward access. 3 metres LWS. Portscatho is a small village in a cove situated on England's southwest coast about three miles northeast of the entrance to Falmouth Harbour. A good location with safe access. 3 metres LWS. Saint Mawes is situated on England's southwest coast, about fourteen miles northeast of Lizard Point and opposite the port town of Falmouth. It offers moorings and a protected anchorage. get full information »

The River Fal
A completely protected location with safe access. 3 metres LWS. The River Fal enters the sea on England's southwest coast about fourteen miles northeast of Lizard Point. It has one of the English Channel’s major ports near its entrance and several miles of sheltered deep waters stretching inland. Within its length is a separate marina, detached river pontoons, pick up moorings and a host of sheltered inlets and creeks where it is possible to anchor afloat or dry out. get full information »

Falmouth
A completely protected location with safe access. 3 metres LWS. Falmouth Harbour is situated on England's southwest coast about fourteen miles northeast of Lizard Point. Helford River
A good location with straightforward access. 3 metres LWS. The Helford River enters the sea on England's south-west coast about 10 miles north-east of Lizard Point and 4 miles south-west of the entrance to the River Fal. The pretty, sheltered river is a much-treasured boating location that offers a choice of anchoring locations, visitor moorings and the opportunity to dry in its creeks. get full information »

A good location with straightforward access. 3 metres LWS. Gillan Creek lies off the southern entrance to the Helford River, which enters the sea on England's south-west coast about 10 miles north-east of Lizard Point and 4 miles south-west of the entrance to the River Fal. get full information »

A tolerable location with straightforward access. 3 metres LWS. Coverack is a small harbour on England's south-west coast, 6 miles north-east of Lizard Point. Cadgwith is a small working cove on England's south-west coast, 2 miles north-east of Lizard Point and 10 miles south-westward of Falmouth. Penzance Harbour
A completely protected location with straightforward access. 3 metres LWS. Penzance Harbour is situated in the northwest part of Penzance Bay on England’s southwest coast, about 15 miles northwest of Lizard Point and 8 miles northeast of Land’s End. It is a small drying port that offers pleasure craft the potential of locking-in to its wet dock, anchoring outside in settled conditions or picking up one of its tide-wait moorings overnight. Newlyn
A good location with safe access. 2.5 metres LWS. Newlyn Harbour is situated on the west side of Penzance Bay and on England’s southwest coast, about 15 miles northwest of Lizard Point and 7 miles northeast of Land's End. This is principally a fishing port, but it accommodates leisure craft inside and it is also possible to anchor outside of the harbour walls during good conditions. get full information »

Mousehole

Mousehole is a tiny harbour situated on the west side of Penzance Bay and on England's southwest coast, about 14 miles northwest of Lizard Point and 7 miles east of Land's End. A good location with attentive navigation required for access. 3 metres LWS. Watermill Cove is located on the northeast side of St Mary’s Island, the largest island of Scilly. Old Town Bay
A good location with attentive navigation required for access. 3 metres LWS. Old Town Bay is located on the south side St Mary’s Island which is the largest island in Scilly. Porth Cressa
A good location with attentive navigation required for access. 3 metres LWS. Porth Cressa is located on the south side of St Mary’s Island which is the largest island in the Isles of Scilly. It is immediately south of the Hugh Town isthmus where the capital and principal port for the Scilly island group lies. It offers an anchorage close to the town. get full information »

A good location with straightforward access. 3 metres LWS. St Mary's Pool is located inside St Mary’s Island which is the largest island in the Isles of Scilly. It fronts Hugh Town and St Mary's Harbour the capital and principal pier for the Scilly island group.
