Cowes Harbour
A completely protected location with safe access. 4 metres LWS. Cowes Harbour is located off the south coast of England at the centre of The Solent and at the apex of the Isle of Wight. It is the island’s largest town and principal port. Being home to the UK’s premier Cowes Week and the Round the Island Race the harbour has ample berthing facilities to cater for large quantities of visiting vessels. The town provides moorings, walk ashore pontoons, mid-river pontoon berths and full service marina berths. Island Harbour Marina is located off the south coast of England within The Solent and on the east side of the River Medina on the Isle of Wight. It is situated in a rural part of the island’s countryside about two and a half miles above the island’s principal port of Cowes. It is situated about a mile to the south and on the opposite river bank to the island’s principal port of Cowes. Osborne Bay is located off the south coast of England, within the Eastern Solent and close east of the Isle of Wight’s apex and its principal port Cowes. Wootton Creek (Fishbourne)
A good location with straightforward access. -1.2 metres LWS. Wootton Creek (Fishbourne) is located off the south coast of England, within the Eastern Solent on the Isle of Wight and about midway between the island’s principal port of Cowes and its most populous urban area of Ryde. It is a short drying creek that has a village on each bank and the island’s main ferry terminal at its mouth. It provides a drying club pontoon where shoal draft vessels can come in on a tide and take to the hard but it has no deep water berths. get full information »
