Omeath, Carlingford Lough
A good location with careful navigation required for access. 1 metres LWS. Omeath is located on the southwest shore of the Carlingford Lough inlet that is set into Ireland's northeast coastline. It offers an anchorage off a small town with a drying slip from which a small passenger ferry operates across to Warrenpoint Port at high water. get full information »

Greer’s Quay, Carlingford Lough
A good location with careful navigation required for access. 2 metres LWS. Greer’s Quay is an isolated pier located near the head of Carlingford Lough inlet which is set into Ireland's northeast coastline. It offers a good anchorage close off the pier and, for vessels that can take to the hard, the possibility of drying out alongside. Moorings are also reported to be available in the area. get full information »

Carlingford Marina, Carlingford Lough
A completely protected location with careful navigation required for access. 2 metres LWS. Carlingford Marina is located on the southwest shore of the Carlingford Lough inlet that is set into Ireland's northeast coastline. The large 170-berth marina has 20 visitor berths that cater for all vessels ranging from light speedboats to large sailing vessels. Carlingford Harbour, Carlingford Lough
A good location with careful navigation required for access. 2 metres LWS. Carlingford Harbour is a tidal harbour located on the southwest shore of Carlingford Lough inlet, which is set into Ireland's northeast coastline. The small pretty harbour dries beyond its pierheads and is only suitable for vessels that can take to the bottom. There is a popular anchorage outside the harbour area with good depths and the possibility of picking up club moorings. get full information »

Giles Quay
A good location with safe access. 2 metres LWS. Giles, or Gyles’, Quay is situated on the northeast coast of Ireland, on Dundalk Bay’s northern shore and at the foot of the Carlingford Mountains. It is an isolated and drying quay that offers the only viable anchoring location in the extensive but shallow Dundalk Bay. get full information »

Dundalk
A completely protected location with straightforward access. 1 metres LWS. Dundalk Harbour is situated on the northeast coast of Ireland, four miles within the Castletown River that flows through drying sandbanks and training walls into Dundalk Bay. The drying industrial quays are not set up for pleasure craft and are less than prepossessing. However, leisure vessels are welcome to berth alongside and or take to the ground on soft mud. get full information »

Port Oriel (Clogher Head)
A good location with straightforward access. 3 metres LWS. Port Oriel is a fishing port on the east coast of Ireland, situated on the north side of Clogher Head, approximately five miles north of the Boyne River estuary. Although primarily a fishing port, yachts may anchor off the pier where there are reports of some moorings being available, or come alongside the pier or raft up to fishing boats. Vessels that can take-to-the-bottom may also dry out in the harbour’s inner basin. get full information »

Drogheda & The River Boyne
A completely protected location with straightforward access. 2 metres LWS. Drogheda, on the east coast of Ireland, is located on the River Boyne about four miles from its river mouth that enters the Irish Sea thirty miles north of Dublin. It is a sizeable provincial town and busy port that has designated pier for visiting leisure craft. get full information »
