Arrows represent the direction of tidal streams with lighter or shorter arrows indicating weaker streams. Stronger streams are indicated by heavier or longer arrows, and as mentioned above, red arrows flagging rates of 3 knots and above. Numerals represent [mean neap, mean spring] rates in tenths of a knot. For example the numbers 12,23 would indicate a mean neap of 1.2 knots and a mean spring of 2.3 knots.

Headline: Fine Saturday after early frost and fog patches.
This Evening and Tonight: Fine but cold during the evening and overnight, with clear spells and light winds allowing temperatures to fall away to give a widespread frost and some freezing fog patches. Minimum Temperature -4C.
Saturday: Starting cold, with early frost and areas of freezing fog slowly clearing to some sunshine. Probably a little cloudier overall in the west, and perhaps more generally later. Light winds. Maximum Temperature 7C.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday: Breezier and more changeable than of late, with a little rain at times. Temperatures will recover to near average or mild, with overnight frosts becoming patchier.
