WiFi Position Sharing

The eOceanic application is designed to deliver the right information at the right time, right where you are. But this requires positional data and not all devices have built-in GPS hardware, most notably personal computers. While you can purchase external GPS peripherals that work with your operating system's location services, this can be time-consuming.

This tutorial will show you how to leverage your mobile device's data service to provide positioning data for non-GPS-capable devices, so you can get up and running immediately.

Man Overboard

Though rare, MOB incidents require swift crew recovery. We don't intend to replace established onboard procedures but rather offer this information assistance system as a complementary tool for worst-case scenarios.
